Jesus said this to the Pharisee's whose rules were more important than people with needs.
Jesus,
Please help me not to be like this but to see past to the need. Forgive me for times I may have misjudged others. I want your mercy and so I cannot be hypocritical and not give it to others.
I realize that I am human and need your wisdom in this so that I will, going forward, be a better believer.
Please shed your light on my fellow beloved believers who may need this as well as I.
